November 1 Table Rock Hiking

 

       My old friend Matt Stewart called me and asked if I wanted to go hiking at Table Rock which is a little over an hour from Hickory.  It was a beautiful fall day, so I went with Sadie and Lillie.  We had a nice drive and hike.  Just as we were leaving there were several rescue crews and paramedics assembling at the base.  At first I thought it was a training exercise, but it turned out that a climber nearby was badly injured.Table Rock Compressed.jpgHiking View.jpg
